Dušan Tršar (1937)

Tršar was born in 1937 in Postojna, Slovenia.

In 1955, he graduated from the Art Blacksmith School, and then worked as an art blacksmith for several years. In 1964, he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana, where he later obtained a master’s degree.

He received many awards for his work (including the Zlata ptica award in 1970, the Intart award in 1971 and the Jakopič award in 2018).

The artist exhibits at solo and group exhibitions, and also attends sculpture symposia.

Tršar lives and creates in Gornji trg, Slovenia.
