Description
Barbara Jurkovšek (Ljubljana, 1981) graduated in 2006 and in 2009 obtained a master’s degree in painting at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana with prof. Metka Krašovec. She later studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Lecce in Italy. Since 2009 she has been self-employed in culture. She has 47 solo and 140 group exhibitions and projects in Slovenia and abroad. She has received several awards and recognitions for her work.
She works in the field of painting, sculpture, graphics, calligraphy and scientific illustration.
