Barbara Jurkovšek (1981)

Jurkovšek was born in 1981 in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

In 2006, under the mentorship of prof. Metka Krašovec, she graduated in painting from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana. In 2009, she finished her postgraduate studies. She consolidated her knowledge at the Italian Academy of Fine Arts.

She received many awards and recognitions for her work.

The artist exhibits at many solo and group exhibitions.

Jurkovšek works in painting, sculpting, graphics, illustration and calligraphy.
