Ana Maraž (1985)

Illustrator of highly stylized illustrations with a distinctive minimalist and flat style. She exhibits and publishes her work in renowned children’s magazines at home and abroad, and her illustrations have also appeared in numerous books.

She received the award for best illustration in the book illustration category at Ilustrofest in Belgrade for her illustrations in the book Božaj veter, and her illustrations from the book Kako dolg je čas were selected for the Golden Pinwheel in Shanghai. The illustrations from the picture book Protideževna juha were selected for the 58th International Children’s Book Illustration Exhibition in Bologna, and the book received the Kristina Brenkova Award for Original Slovenian Picture Book 2024. The picture book has been/will be published in Latvia, Serbia, Turkey, Pakistan, and Croatia.

She lives and works in Vipava.
