Valentin Oman (1935)
Oman was born in 1935 in Finkenstein, Austria.
In 1962, he graduated in painting from the Academy of Applied Arts in Vienna. In 1963, he also completed a graphics specialty at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana.
He received many awards and recognitions for his work (including Prešeren Fund award in 1981 and Jakopič award in 1997).
The artist lives and creates in Vienna, Austria.
