Franc Godec (1910 – 1996)

Godec was born in 1910 in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

He completed a painting and sculpture school and then enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, where he later also graduated. He also acquired knowledge in the studios of Goršet, Zajec, Tratnik and Sternen.

He exhibited at numerous solo and group exhibitions in Slovenia and abroad.
